What’s going on with the GFSN site?!

Whilst the original relaunch at the start of 2008 looked pretty, we struggled to dedicate much time to the site. Bluntly, this wasn’t good enough for our members and for people visiting our site for the first time.

So we’ve had a re-think, and we’ve decided to make the site more of a ‘blog’. The GFSN Committee - and eventually GFSN members - will be able to post items, news and links whenever they like, about whatever they like (within reason of course!)

GFSN League

The GFSN National League is the only 11-a-side football league in the world for LGBT-friendly football teams. We exist primarily for LGBT players and their friends to play competitive football in an accepting envinronment.

Teams from Birmingham, Bournemouth, Brighton, Leicester, London, Edinburgh, Nottingham and Yorkshire will participate in matches played between September and May to decide the 2008/2009 league title.

GFSN Wreath Laid in Berlin

GFSN's Lindsay England laid a wreath in Berlin at the recent Germany vs England gameIt’s not every day mainstream England football groups want to welcome the GFSN as part of their events.

So when I was asked by Englandfans regional members to take part along with German fans reps at the wreath laying in Berlin prior to the 19th November friendly, I asked the GFSN committee for their thoughts.
